areasofmyexpertise: COURTESY the famous speed-muralist Joe Pagac and the Official Hodgmanians of Facebook… HERE IS A CLOSE UP of the amazing 8X12 foot mural that Joe speed-painted directly behind us on stage as John Roderick and I were performing for the people of TUCSON.  AS YOU CAN SEE, Roderick and I are doing pretty well in our battle against Cthulhu. But we will all fall to the DOGSTORM.  BUT DON’T LET this sad news blind you to the brilliance of Pagac, who rhymes with “Magic.” When JoRo and I took the stage, this canvas was TOTALLY BLANK.  I left this mural behind as a gift to the city of Tucson, and I WILL NOT REST UNTIL IT IS HANGING IN CITY HALL.  That is all.

Game Night! This Wednesday @ 6

For the fellow Chicago game geeks… Uncharted Books is a recently-opened bookstore & gathering place in Logan Square. Good people. They mixed some Dark & Stormy cocktails on their soft opening, and let me crack open a bottle of gin I’d purchased nearby.

Hey, folks,

We’re having an informal game night tomorrow (Wednesday the 8th) at the store from 6 till we’re finished (8 or 8:30, most likely).

I would like to make this a regular thing, though the night and time will most likely change. The store will remain open for the duration, so stop by, pick up a few books, and enjoy some rad board games. You may bring your own coffee or beverage if you so desire.
